Controller and contact
Hi-tech Resolutions, trading as Printy, is the controller for personal information processed through Printy. Its public address is Pastoor Sickingstraat 142, 5614 HV Eindhoven, Netherlands, and its privacy contact is support@askprinty.com.
OpenAI, Stripe, production and delivery providers, the transactional email provider, and the hosting provider process limited information for their respective parts of the service. Printy does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Information we process
Creative information includes prompts, optional reference photos, generated artwork, selected products, variants, quantities, and production previews. Session and generation information includes the customer-provided email, a random browser session identifier, a keyed pseudonymous customer identifier, generation status, OpenAI request identifier, model and pricing schedule, token usage, and inference cost.
Order information includes the customer's name, email, delivery address, optional carrier phone number, ordered items, shipping choice, payment and checkout references, order status, tracking information, and the legal terms recorded for the order. Printy does not receive full payment-card or wallet credentials.
A project draft can be stored locally in the customer's browser. It contains the brief, recent studio conversation, selections, set, and an artwork reference, but not delivery details or uploaded photo files.
Printy records aggregate visits from its advertising links and uses a keyed pseudonymous customer identifier to measure product creation, bag, checkout, and purchase results. Campaign analytics does not store raw email addresses, IP addresses, user agents, or a separate advertising cookie, and is not sent to advertising platforms.
Purposes and legal bases
Printy processes creative and session information to provide the requested studio and take steps requested before a purchase. It processes order, payment, production, delivery, and complaint information to perform the sales agreement.
Printy processes limited security, operational, and first-party campaign measurements for its legitimate interests in running a reliable service and understanding product and advertising performance. A customer may object by contacting Printy.
Printy processes accounting, tax, legal-guarantee, and dispute records where necessary to comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
AI helps generate artwork and product guidance, but the customer chooses the artwork and products and decides whether to order. Printy does not use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects for the customer.
Sharing and international processing
OpenAI receives creative prompts and any submitted reference photos through Printy's server-owned API account to generate artwork. Printy does not ask for or store a customer's OpenAI credentials. Stripe receives the information required to process payment and issue a payment receipt. Production and delivery providers receive the final artwork, ordered product details, and delivery information needed to make and deliver the order.
The transactional email provider receives the address and message needed to send artwork-ready or order communications. The hosting provider stores the application and its private records. These recipients receive only the information needed for their role.
Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where European data-protection law requires safeguards, Printy relies on an applicable adequacy decision or contractual transfer safeguards made available for that processing.
Retention and deletion
A signed browser session expires after 30 days. Customer email, pseudonymous identifiers, generation usage and cost records, generated artwork, and production previews are deleted after 180 days without session activity, or sooner when the customer uses Delete my Printy data and no order record requires a support-led review.
The browser keeps a local project until the customer deletes it, clears site data, or replaces it. Routine Printy web access logging is disabled. Campaign attribution is deleted with the customer's inactive creative account or a valid deletion request; anonymous visit totals and business summaries may be retained.
Order and accounting records are retained for the Dutch statutory administration period, normally 7 years. Records covered by a One Stop Shop VAT scheme may need to be retained for 10 years. Complaint or legal-claim material can be retained longer where reasonably necessary for the applicable limitation period or a live dispute.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, a customer may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection by emailing support@askprinty.com. Printy may ask for proportionate information to verify the requester and will explain any lawful reason that prevents a request from being completed in full.
European data subjects may complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands or, where applicable, their local supervisory authority. Exercising a privacy right does not affect mandatory consumer rights.
